We had to go through passport control when we arrived in Switzerland. Normally in Europe the line for EU citizens is about 4 times faster than the line for non EU citizens. That wasn't the case here. The EU line was very slow, but we were through in a matter of minutes.
On a related note, I though Switzerland was now in the passport free zone, but I guess I was wrong.
